First Ever Interactive Game on Youtube

Youtube launched video annotations on Youtube some days ago but here is the first interactive game on Youtube. Hexolabs created a simple car game using annotation which makes you jump to the next level or you can say that you are taken to the next level’s video in a new page.

The game is of total 9 videos containing 8 levels. The first video starts and a “Click” button appears at random places for a very short duration in the videos. Clicking the button takes you to the next video or the next level. So all you have to do is quickly click on the link before it disappears otherwise you will loose the game.

If you fail to click the button in time, you can quickly resume the game by just rewinding the video. I don’t think that any more cheat codes are needed for this game.

Visit the link below or start your game from right here:

You can also start playing from this link on Youtube. Have Fun!

YouTube’s New Web Based Video Uploader

YouTube has a got a new web-based Video uploader. The new uploader is capable of uploading 10 files at a time. Each file can be of up to 1GB in size. This update was seen to be necessary as YouTube’s competitors already have larger uploading limits.

Previously, the limit on web based uploader was that you were only able to upload files less than 10mb in size. Also the files were not allowed to be more than 10 minute long. It isn’t still sure about this 10 minute limit has been raised or not in the new uploader.
The new uploader is still in beta stage and supports many video formats. The other alternative for uploading large video files were the desktop based video uploader’s, which can be used an alternative to this.

Steps to Protect Yours Orkut Profile When Hacked

It can be a nightmare if someone else takes control of your Google Account because all your Google services like Gmail, Orkut, Google Calendar, Blogger, AdSense, Google Docs and even Google Checkout are tied to the same account.
Here are some options suggested by Google Support when you forget theGmail password or if someone else takes ownership of your Google Account and changes the password:

1. Reset Your Google Account Password:
Type the email address associated with your Google Account or Gmail user name atgoogle.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd - you will receive an email at your secondary email address with a link to reset your Google Account Password.
This will not work if the other person has changed your secondary email address or if you no longer have access to that address.

2. For Google Accounts Associated with Gmail:
If you have problems while logging into your Gmail account, you can consider contacting Google by filling this form. It however requires you to remember the exact date when you created that Gmail account.

3. For Hijacked Google Accounts Not Linked to Gmail:
If your Google Account doesn’t use a Gmail address, contact Google by filling this form. This approach may help bring back your Google Account if you religiously preserve all your old emails. You will be required to know the exact creation date of your Google Account plus a copy of that original “Google Email Verification” message.

It may be slightly tough to get your Google Account back but definitely not impossible if you have the relevant information in your secondary email mailbox.

Speed Up Browsing

When you connect to a web site your computer sends information back and forth. Some of this information deals with resolving the site name to an IP address, the stuff that TCP/IP really deals with, not words. This is DNS information and is used so that you will not need to ask for the site location each and every time you visit the site. Although Windows XP and Windows XP have a pretty efficient DNS cache, you can increase its overall performance by increasing its size. You can do this with the registry entries below:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dnscache\Parameters]
“CacheHashTableBucketSize”=dword:00000001
“CacheHashTableSize”=dword:00000180
“MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit”=dword:0000fa00
“MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit”=dword:0000012d

Make a new text file and rename it to dnscache.reg. Then copy and paste the above into it and save it. Merge it into the registry.

Take A Broadband Speed Test Today!

No doubt your broadband supplier would have assured you about the broadband speed, but have you ever tested that how fast are the actual connection. There are many online broadband speed tests available over the Internet from which you can choose one broadband speed test and check the accurate results and while you are performing the test you should make sure of one thing is that you should not be using your internet connection for any other purpose at that moment of time.

It is quite necessary to close any other application or internet window which you have opened just because they might affect your broadband speed. Then you need to enter the entire details of the package which you are using currently. Then you need to run the speed test and then the results will show out the actual speed in comparison which is been quoted by your provider. This speed is important when you download information from the Internet pages and especially when you are downloading music, or any online games or email attachments and other files along with that and also while you are making Internet Phone calls. These test results would give whether the data has been transferred between your computers alone or through any distributed network and it will also give you a perfect idea on how fast is your broadband connection.

Surprise Yahoo! Messenger Friends Who Pretend To Be Offline

You want to chat with a buddy on Yahoo! Messenger but his status on Yahoo! says Off-Line. There are two possibilities here - your friend could be really offline or he may have logged into Yahoo! Messenger in “Invisible Mode” to avoid interruptions. (Yahoo! Messenger has a Stealth settings feature that lets you choose the people who see you as online and offline.)

You can however beat that mask easily with services like Xeeber or VNGrabber that reveal the exact status of your Yahoo! Messenger friends. All you have to do is type the Yahoo! Messenger username and you will instantly know the exact online status of that person. Time to put on your detective gloves.

• 3. Click on the "Security" tab.

• 4. Then click on "Custom Level".

• 5. Scroll down to the "Scripting" section.

• 6. Now set "Active Scripting" to "Disable".

• 7. Now a dialog box will appear. Click yes to confirm the change.

• 8. Click "OK" and close the tools window.

Note: If this tweak causes some problem while surfing some sites, you'll have to turn that setting back to "Enable". This is because generally javascripts enhances a website.
