Aranya is the annual technical festival of Thapar University, Patiala. Marked by a great deal of exuberance and pomp and show, the festival brings about the talents from all over Northern India to one platform. Started in 2006, the golden jubilee year of the university, Aranya has gained more and more popularity as time has passed by. Held in the months of September - October, this festival draws attention of thousands of college as well as school students from all over India.
