HP makes Three Additions to its Mini PC series


The amount of choices available while selecting a laptop, netbook etc are truly amazing with more and more companies now releasing products that suit the requirements of a wide range of users. The HP Mini PC which was unveiled in April was mainly targeted for education purposes, but this new series will target a wide range of audience.
All the three notebooks are powered by Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor, a sleek design, backlit keyboard which is actually 92% smaller than what we see in normal notebooks, web cam and microphone and small weight.The HP mini 1000 comes with either a 8 or 10.2 inch screen size, diagonal brightview display and an option to choose between mechanical and solid state hard drive. It comes with Windows XP home and includes WiFi and Bluetooth capability.
The HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition is similar in configuration to HP Mini 1000 but is for the more fashion conscious crowd.  It is red in color with a peony flower and is for fashionable people. The HP Mini 1000 with MIE (Mobile Internet Experience) is targeted for people who like to stay connected all the time.
It comes packed with email, instant messaging, online video chat features. This comes bundled with Linux and a host of application to help you stay connected all the time.

The HP Mini 1000 is now available at a price of $399, the Vivienne Tam edition will be available in December for around $699 while the HP Mini 1000 MIE will be available around January for around $399.
